My name’s Joe, I’m a student at UC Santa Cruz, and I just turned 21. I’m really excited about a lot of things, and I feel like I have a very unique perspective. I have a really strong urge to get my opinions out there, polish my writing voice, and sort out and improve my own life.
Expect various posts about philosophy, games, social life, and self-improvement. For now I’m learning how to work wordpress, so bear with me for a bit. In the meantime, I’ll link to a few things that inspire me so every reader can get a better feel of what’s to come.

I love this blog. Chronicles one man’s journey from nerd to success story, with emphasis on personal, social, and professional achievement. Introduce yourself to the 30-day challenge. I read this religiously in the beginning of summer, and made a point to write in my journal every day for a month, and the results were phenomenal.

Another great one. Sometimes I disagree with the author’s interpretation of “manliness,” but there is a LOT of valuable material on practical ways to improve your life. I love Brett’s dedication to hard work and hustle, and he has lots of inspirational stuff on there about the great men of history.
